Get To Dah Choppah!
Experimenting a bit with the Element 3D plugin for After Effects — putting together some proof-of-concept clips for a short film project I have in mind.
In the first pass of the video below, I was trying to emulate shaky, handheld, war photographer footage. The second pass is a little cleaner, without the camera shake, or missed focus.

Mi-Box Promo Video

Started shooting, editing and creating motion-graphics for an upcoming video for Centennial Storage’s Mi-Box personal storage enterprise.

Planning on combining live-action, time-lapse and motion-graphics to create a fun and informative promotional video, highlighting the company’s technological advantages, along with their local roots.

Race Across America
UPDATE: You can view the completed edit of my motion graphic work here!
About to wrap up work on a show package I developed for the Race Across America. I was tasked with providing creative direction and executing motion graphics, 3D modeling and some editing for the event’s series of web videos and other online promotional material. Pretty pleased with the way it’s come together, and am eager to add it to the portfolio very soon!

I’m super pleased to report that the promotional video I created for the Vampire 5k has cleared over 20,000 views on YouTube.
The two versions I put together for the client have received quite a bit of attention, and driven a large amount of traffic to their website, and I couldn’t he happier about it.
Race Creators/Organizers, Scott and Lauren Jones, are both extremely dynamic, enthusiastic people, who pour a ton of energy into their races, and it makes me very happy to see their incredibly clever concept garnering so much interest. I hope this is just the beginning of their successes!
