Rogers Project is a small, family-run web development business operated by Scott and Sherrie Rogers in Littleton, CO.
Originally, the company's branding was centered around a light-bulb, and the tagline, "shine in cyberspace", so I used that concept as a starting point.
After looking things over, we decided that any "corporate" motif just wouldn't reflect the real heart and soul of the business, which was that it was a joint effort; something the family was building together.
Going off that, I submitted a few ideas focusing on members of the household. These were better, but felt too domestic, and didn't point to the company's Internet nature.
Aha! This family LOVES their dogs! Why not have the family Black Lab chase a cursor? The concept was warm and familial, but still evoked strong ties to the web.
Did they like it? WOOF!
