Tage Plantell is an incredibly gifted musician, singer, songwriter and film-maker in Denver, CO.
When he's not behind the camera, or working hard in an editing bay, you can usually find Tage on stage, making sounds most human beings simply aren't capable of making on a guitar.
In recent years, Tage's music has taken a turn from slick, polished pop songs towards something much more sparse and organic. There's a distinct streak of Americana running through his latest tunes.
Given his work's emerging tone, and knowing we're both crazy about early automotive signage, I tried to create branding that looked like it had been peeled off an old gas-pump in a ramshackle truck stop during the dust bowl -- something that had taken on the patina of its years, and looked all the better for it.
